Immaculata Students compete at ASMAOn Thursday, November 14, 2019, over a dozen Immaculata students participated in the second of six mathematics contests given annually by the American Scholastic Mathematics Association (ASMA). From among these students, Alex Brawley and Aidan Cannatelli tied for first place. Jaeden Bonaventura and Karis Mathis tied for second place. In third place, there was a four way tie between Daniel Blair, Sean Castellano, Jack Kerekes and Brendan Lanka. Congratulations to all participants! The school score is based on the highest 8 scores and sent to ASMA, and this time included students from every grade level! The next ASMA competition is December 12, 2019 after school in room 302. Students are encouraged to speak to their math teachers or Mrs. Petsu for details.
