IHS to Partake in the Last Dance Tournament

The Last Dance World Series, a 222-team baseball tournament created to give this year’s high school seniors once last chance to take the field, begins on July 14, 2020 at sites across New Jersey. The Tournament will provide players, parents, coaches and teams an opportunity to play baseball and make up for what was lost in the canceled 2020 spring season.

The Tournament consists of baseball players who would have been on their High School Varsity team if the spring season had been allowed to continue.

This is the last chance for graduated seniors to have an opportunity to play ball together with their varsity team. Many of them have been teammates since T-ball and little league.

Several of our graduated Spartan ballplayers will be playing at the college level, but this will be a special moment for our senior Spartans as they play together for the last time as the Somerville Spartans.
