Community Service at Immaculata

Immaculata High School marks its return to community service in the new year with the debut of its latest new program, CBFNJ. The Community Food Bank of NJ in Hillside is an impressive, aggressive and massive operation within a warehouse multiple times larger than the local food bank where our students regularly serve. Our volunteers helped sort enough food to fill 87 boxes on pallets for shipping, despite a surprising number of items needing to be thrown out due to expiration dates or damaged packaging. Would you buy a bag of rice with tape covering a hole?

Immaculata volunteers return to the Community Food Bank of NJ in Hillside on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 11:30 AM– 4:30 PM. Permission slips to this event can be found on by clicking here or in Campus Ministry.
